Transboundary Waters

Cooperation and conflicts across borders on water issues present major challenges and opportunities to countries and other stakeholders seeking to manage freshwater resources. UNW-DPC actively supports the UN-Water Task Force on Transboundary Waters, specifically in its mapping activities, which were consolidated in a workshop at the UN Campus in Bonn in February 2010.

More information on the UN-Water Task Force on Transboundary Waters, chaired by UNECE and UNESCO, can be found here.
