UNW-DPC and NeWater Offer a Training Course on Capacity Development in Adaptive Water Management

UNW-DPC and NeWater are co-convening a training course on Capacity Development in Adaptive Water Management prior to the IHDP Open Meeting, 16-19 October 2008 in New Delhi, India. The course is directed at instructors of water management, environmental management and natural resources management who are interested in introducing adaptive water management in their teaching curricula.
Adaptive water management involves a process of increasing the adaptive capacity of a water system by making both learning processes and the conditions needed for these learning processes possible. The teaching programme includes individually downloadable modules with annotated presentations, exercises, discussion questions, relevant literature and links to databases and tools. Participants will work directly with the online curriculum during the training session, and will be able to use the available material in their own courses.
